Miles Brown will return for a third season in green and white.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Friday the 26-year-old defensive tackle has signed a contract extension with the CFL team. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Brown was eligible to become a free agent Feb. 13.
The Cheverly, Md., product has suited up for 25 games over the 2022 and ’23 seasons. He has recorded 43 tackles, four tackles for loss, six sacks and two fumble recoveries during his time in Saskatchewan.
The 6-foot-2, 320-pound defender spent four seasons at Wofford College, where he started in 49 of the 50 games he suited up for. During his time there, Brown had 174 tackles, 13.5 sacks, two pass deflections and two forced fumbles.
He signed as an undrafted free agent with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals in 2019. He suited up for nine regular-season games that season, making four tackles.
He also spent time with the Tennessee Titans (2020) and Detroit Lions (2021).
It was the second signing the Roughriders announced Friday, with defensive back Amari Henderson also agreeing to an extension.
