A 61-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder after a man was found dead in a Yorkton home.
According to RCMP, Donna Spilchen was arrested on Friday after mounties had stated they were asking for her whereabouts.
Initially, RCMP said they were searching for her to “confirm her safety” in a news release sent out on Friday.
A news release sent on Saturday revealed that the victim has been identified as William Byblow.

Mounties say he was found dead at a home at 6th Avenue North during a welfare check on Wednesday.
Spilchen has been remanded and is scheduled to make her first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday at 9:30 a.m.
The release said RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit will continue to investigate.
