UPDATE: RCMP now say they have been able to identify the man hit by a vehicle on Sunday, as someone from the North Battleford detachment area. According to a brief statement, police are not releasing the man’s name for privacy reasons.
They thanked members of the public for their help.

RCMP officers are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who was injured in a collision on Highway 11 near Duck Lake.
Police said officers were called to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle about three kilometres north of Duck Lake on Sunday at around 3 a.m.
The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment, but police have not been able to identify him.
“Rosthern RCMP is currently working to identify the injured adult male and is asking members of the public to report any information on his potential identity,” the Mounties said in a statement.

The man has “a distinctive tattoo on his forearm which reads ’12 14 2022′ in Roman numerals,” police added.
Anyone who could help identify the man was urged to contact their local police service.
The crash remains under investigation, the RCMP noted. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
