Firefighters in Saskatoon were battling a large house fire in the city’s north end on Monday afternoon.
Thick black smoke was filling the air as a large number of firefighters worked to extinguish a house fire on Zeman Crescent, near the Silverwood Golf Course.
Flames were seen coming from the roof of a home, which the fire had largely reduced to rafters. Firefighters outside the home were spraying water at the home next door in an effort to keep the fire contained.
There’s no word yet on any injuries or the possible cause of the fire. 650 CKOM has reached out to the fire department for more information.
More to come.
