The Saskatchewan RCMP says four people were killed in a crash between an SUV and a semi Sunday night on Highway 41 near Aberdeen.
The crash happened near the intersection of Edenburg Road. The four occupants of the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The RCMP didn’t release the names of the victims, but 650 CKOM has learned Meridian Developments president and co-founder Karl Miller, his wife and their two children were killed in the crash.
That was confirmed by Miller’s business partner and friend, Colleen Wilson.
Wilson said next of kin have been notified.
The semi driver did not report any injuries to police.
The crash prompted police to close the highway for their investigation Sunday night. It has since reopened.
The Mounties are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
