Two people are facing charges following a fight with a cab driver Saturday night near the Saskatoon Ex.
Police were called around 10:15 p.m. after a cab driver reported a customer who refused to pay for their ride at Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue.
The suspect ran, but was caught by police who said he appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant and had blood on him.
According to police, an officer was assaulted while arresting a woman also believed to be involved.
Police say the 47-year-old cab driver and two teenage bystanders, who stepped in to help, suffered minor injuries. One of the bystanders went to hospital for treatment.
A 25-year-old man is charged with aggravated assault.
A 20-year-old woman is charged with assault and assaulting a police officer.
