Saskatoon police are asking for the public’s help with a cold case.
It has been 36 years since Robin Peter Ermine was found shot to death inside his home in the 700 block of Avenue I South. In a media release Friday, police said the back door of the home was wide open when officers arrived and no gun or suspects were ever found.
“Although decades have passed, no one has been charged in the homicide, but the file remains open,” police said in the release.
Anyone with information about Ermine’s killing on Aug. 12, 1987 is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
“Though current details are limited, someone knows something,” the release added. “We ask people to come forward with any information that could help police solve this case and bring closure to the friends and family of Robin Peter Ermine.”
