A string of business break-ins in Saskatoon has resulted in 71 charges against a 32-year-old man.
Saskatoon police said the break-and-enters date back to January. They all occurred in the areas of Eighth Street, Broadway Avenue and Louise Avenue, with electronics and several thousand dollars in cash and gift cards stolen.
Police said video surveillance footage helped them identify the suspect, who had break-and-enter tools in his possession when he was arrested. Police didn’t release the man’s name.
The 71 charges include break, enter and theft, possession of break-and-enter tools, committing an indictable offence by concealing identity, and mischief.
