Work has now begun on evaluating the roster ahead of the 2025 season.
Saskatoon’s deputy police chief is calling it a career.
Mitch Yuzdepski retired Thursday after 36 years with the police service, which included time spent as a patrol officer and dog handler, and stints in both major crimes and the forensic identification unit.
“Please join us in congratulating D/C Yuzdepski on a dedicated career to law enforcement,” the police service said in a social media post.
