A snowbird based out of Moose Jaw has been grounded over sexual misconduct allegations.
The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) says they are aware of the sexual misconduct allegations and that it’s being made against a member of 431 Squadron.
“The RCAF takes all allegations of this nature seriously and is cooperating with investigators fully,” they said in a release issued Saturday afternoon. “Names and specific details will be withheld while this independent investigation takes place. The affected person and impacted CAF members are being provided care and support during this time.”
The member in question has since been reassigned to non-operational duties at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.
The RCAF says this does not imply any outcomes and is intended to enable a robust investigation.
