10:30 – The recent funding increase for the school divisions from the provincial government is not enough, according to The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF). Even with the additional $ 40 million to help handle enrolment and classroom support, school divisions still look at cuts. Samantha Becotte is the President of the STF and joins Taylor to discuss what impacts teachers are facing with the budget shortcomings.

12:00 – Most Canadians’ mental health services coverage does not go far enough. The annual maximum coverage for mental health counselling is only $750, whereas the yearly cost is $2,006. Glenn Brimacombe is the Interim Chief Executive Officer & Director, Policy & Public Affairs for Canadian Psychological Association. He joins Taylor to discuss the room for improving mental health coverage for Canadians.
