A 44-year-old man found himself in handcuffs after allegedly breaking into a home while armed with imitation guns.
According to police, officers were called to a residence on Arlington Avenue on Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. for a report of a man entering a home while armed with a rifle “before leaving without incident.”
While the report said the man had left, police said responding officers found a man matching the suspect’s description in the basement of the residence, along with three imitation firearms.
He’s now facing charges of breaking and entering with a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and using a firearm in the commission of an offence.
