Ethel "Nana" Mongovius' family has been cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for decades.
Saskatoon residents eager to get rid of old paint and motor oil in their garage and shed have one less option this spring.
The city’s popular Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) disposal program is currently on hiatus without a contractor to operate the dropoff days.
“Once a contract has been awarded to run the program, the HHW collection events will begin,” read an update on the city’s website.
The city plans to provide an update on the program in late June.
In 2022, paint, batteries and used oil accounted for 60 per cent of the material dropped off at HHW events.
In the meantime, other dropoff options and locations can be found on the city’s website.
