Ethel "Nana" Mongovius' family has been cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for decades.
Special air quality statements remained in effect for areas of west-central Saskatchewan on Tuesday, while rainfall warnings that had popped up across central parts of the province were lifted.
According to Environment Canada, heavy rain fell in areas around Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Hudson Bay and Porcupine Plain. The warnings were removed just before 10:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, wildfire smoke continued to blanket western parts of the province, including North Battleford, Unity, Wilkie and Lloydminster. The statements also covered communities such as La Loche, La Ronge, Prince Albert and Rosthern.
