Saskatoon will get to clap for the wolfman this summer as Burton Cummings performs at the Saskatoon Ex.
The former leader of the Guess Who and a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee is set to perform Aug. 12 at the exhibition, along with his band.
“Few artists have achieved the level of public success and critical acclaim that Cummings has enjoyed in a dazzling career spanning more than 40 years,” the exhibition’s announcement read.
“Whether as lead singer and songwriter with the Guess Who or on his own, Burton Cummings has amassed more hit records than just about any other Canadian performer in history.”
Arkells are also set to perform at the exhibition Aug. 8, and more grandstand announcements are expected as the event draws closer.
The Saskatoon Ex runs from Aug. 8-13 from noon to midnight at Prairieland Park.
More information on the concert is available on the exhibition’s website.
