Police in Saskatoon are asking for the public’s help solving an armed home invasion.
According to police, two women and a man forced their way into a home on 33rd Street West in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police said the home invaders were “looking for an individual unknown to the current tenants,” and the male suspect held the occupant at gunpoint while the women searched the home. All three later fled from the home in a vehicle that was parked in the back alley, police said.
Nobody was hurt and nothing was stolen, police noted.
The male suspect was described as a Caucasian man, somewhere between 5-foot-10 and six feet in height, with dirty blonde hair. He may have short hair and groomed facial hair, police added, and was wearing a black or navy ball cap, a red Toronto Blue Jays T-shirt and blue jeans.
The vehicle the home invaders used to flee was described as a small grey SUV or hatchback, with white writing at the top of the rear window.
Detailed descriptions of the women were not available, police said.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation was asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
