Regina, Saskatoon schools combine for 5 gold medals at HOOPLA

Three Regina high schools and two from Saskatoon will be raising championship banners in their gymnasiums after winning gold at HOOPLA in Prince Albert.

Regina Laval defeated Wilkie 51-42 to claim the girls 2A championship, while Regina Riffel took home the 5A title beating Harvest City 81-57.

On the boys side, Saskatoon Holy Cross defeated Saskatoon Walter Murray 99-75 to win the 5A crown. Regina Riffel won the bronze with a 86-73 victory over PA Carlton.

Saskatoon’s Legacy Christian Academy won 2A gold while Regina Christian are 3A champions.
