8:30 – A private member’s bill is seeking to establish a foreign influence registry. Bill S-237 would require anyone with ties to an organization that could be under the direction of foreign governments to register and contact Canadian public officials. Senator Yuen Pau Woo questions whether this registry could become a modern form of Chinese exclusion. Now, the Senator is being questioned about his contacts with Beijing. 10:00 –The University of Saskatchewan has launched a website where students, faculty and staff can submit proof of Indigenous citizenship or membership, as part of a policy meant to prevent false. Dr. Angela Jaime, vice-provost of Indigenous engagement at the University of Saskatchewan joins Taylor to discuss this is about supporting Indigenous people.

10:30 – Tourism Regina had a rebrand to Experience Regina last week but it has come under some criticism that has prompted an apology from the organization. Tim Reid is the CEO of Experience Regina and joins Taylor to discuss what happened with the rebranding.

11:00– Last week the 2023 SARM annual convention and trade show wrapped up with a number of discussions being had about how better to support the RM’s. Ray Orb, President of SARM joins Taylor to discuss some of the big issues being addressed from the convention.

11:30 – The Regina Food Bank has partnered with the Regina Trades and Skills Centre (RTSC) to build almost 7,100 square feet of roof for the food bank’s building on Winnipeg Street. It is a huge undertaking and David Froh, Vice President of the Regina Food Bank Joins Tayler to explain how this partnership came to be.
