Residents of several communities in northwest Saskatchewan have been advised to visit RCMP detachments for police services during a planned SaskTel outage.
According to the RCMP, there will be disruptions to landline and wireless phone services and Internet services between midnight and 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The outage, the RCMP said, will affect Beauval, Buffalo Narrows, Dillon, Green Lake, Île-à-la-Crosse, Patuanak, La Loche, Sled Lake, St. George’s Hill, Waterhen Lake, and the surrounding areas.
Anyone in need of police services during the outage was advised to visit their local detachment in person.
A similar outage occurred Tuesday morning, when services were temporarily down due to emergency maintenance.
