For the second straight day, Environment Canada is advising drivers to be careful of heavy fog in some parts of Saskatchewan.
While some of the advisories were lifted Tuesday afternoon, the alerts remained in place for much of western and southern Saskatchewan on Wednesday morning, covering the areas around Saskatoon, Martensville, Warman, Kindersley, Rosetown, Leader, Moose Jaw, Outlook, Watrous, Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Swift Current, and the Battlefords.
The weather service said patches of “very dense” fog developed overnight, but added that conditions are expected to improve during the day on Wednesday.
“Visibility may be significantly reduced to near zero,” Environment Canada said in a statement. “If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.”
