Two men were taken to hospital after two stabbings in Saskatoon on Monday night.
According to police, the first call was received at around 8:45 p.m., in the 300 block of Avenue M North. When officers arrived, they found a 52-year-old man suffering from a minor stab wound.
Paramedics took the man to hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. Police don’t know if the victim and the suspect know each other.
At around 11:15 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Avenue F North for a report of an injured person. At the scene, officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds and started lifesaving measures.
Paramedics arrived and took the victim to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the victim and suspect know each other.
In both cases, the suspects had fled before police arrived. The investigations are continuing.
