Defensive back Jordan Beaulieu will be back in green and white in 2023.
The CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Friday they had signed the Montreal product to a one-year contract extension.
Beaulieu was eligible to become a free agent in February. Saskatchewan still has 31 players who can hit the free-agent market.
The 29-year-old signed with the Riders in July and was on the active roster for 10 games in 2022, recording four defensive tackles and six special-teams tackles.
He was taken by Edmonton in the 2018 CFL draft and spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Elks. He recorded two defensive tackles and 10 special-teams tackles over 30 games.
Beaulieu spent 2021 with the Ottawa Redblacks.
The safety played three collegiate seasons at Western University.
