Saskatoon police provided more information Friday about recent sexual assaults in the area of Dagnone Crescent.
In a media release, police said “the encounters were brief and, fortunately, the victims were able to escape the assault by their own actions.” The release added that the assaults “involved a combination of physical, verbal, and exposure-related advancements towards the victim.”
The release didn’t say how many attacks had been reported.
The suspect is described as a Black man between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-0 in height, weighing approximately 180 pounds and with a slim build. He’s estimated as being between 15 and 25 years old.
Police said that in at least two separate occurrences, the suspect was wearing a neon purple shirt and a neon yellow jacket. He was later seen by one of the victims in black jeans and a black hoodie with a white logo on the front, with the hood pulled tightly around his face.
Anyone with information or video evidence that could help the investigation is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
