The provincial government released its payee disclosure report for the Crowns on Monday. The report covers the year from April 1, 2021 to March 31 of this year, and includes the salaries of all employees who received more than $50,000.
SaskTel president-CEO Doug Burnett received more in 2021-22 than he did the previous year. He earned $608,366 this year compared to $590,588 the year before.

Crown Investments Corporation boss Kent Campbell was paid $430,222 in 2021-22.
“Total payments to the sector’s 11,000-plus employees for the reporting period were slightly over $1 billion, a 3.9 per cent increase over 2020-21 due to economic adjustments included in collective bargaining agreements and the resumption of SaskGaming operations after public health orders were lifted,” the government said in a media release.
The release added that through grants, contributions, donations and sponsorships, the Crown sector put about $10.4 million into charitable organizations, local sports associations and leagues, major tourism events and more.
