The ghosts and ghouls will have ideal trick-or-treating weather this Halloween.
According to Environment Canada, temperatures will hover between 5 C and 7 C in Saskatoon and Regina for peak trick-or-treating.
“Compared to the last three years where you’ve had drizzle and snow and -10 C wind chills, this forecast is great,” senior climatologist Dave Phillips said Monday.
Looking at Monday night, Phillips described the forecast as “gold” despite the fact there is a small chance of rain in both cities.
“There is a very small chance of showers, but that’s more towards midnight,” Phillips explained. “It looks dry to me, mild compared to what it normally would be and it looks gold!”
The average temperatures for Saskatoon on Halloween are between a high of 4 C and a low of -5 C. Regina’s spookiest day of the year normally sees temperatures range from a high of 4 C to a low of -7 C.
