Four people are facing criminal charges after an investigation by Saskatoon police turned up drugs, weapons, stolen property, and more.
According to police, officers with the Tactical Support Unit and a police dog team performed a “high-risk traffic stop” on a vehicle on Central Avenue on Saturday night. The three people in the vehicle were arrested without incident and officers found “a large amount of methamphetamine” inside the vehicle.
The investigation led to a home on Hedley Street where a warrant search turned up a modified shotgun, ammunition, a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle that had been reported stolen, and more. Police said a woman was also arrested at the home.
In total, officers seized 517.5 grams of methamphetamine, 43.5 grams of cocaine, an expandable baton, and drug trafficking paraphernalia including digital scales, and cell phones.
Four people – aged 28, 41, 43, and 48 – are now facing a list of criminal charges largely related to drug trafficking, stolen property, and weapons.
