8:30– The Canadian Government has decided to stop the requirement for vaccines for those entering Canada, end random testing at the airports, and make the ArriveCAN app optional, according to a senior Government source who told the Canadian Press yesterday. The requirement of masks for air travel is still up for discussion by the cabinet. We are joined by Dr. Laurie Trautman, Director of the Border Policy Research Institute at Western Washington University to discuss what this means for both Canadian and US travellers.

His first few years of service for the RCMP were in his home province, and he currently serves in Ottawa. For the last 13 years he has been involved in the RCMP Musical Ride, and on Monday rode in the funeral procession for Queen Elizabeth II.
