Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Prince Albert man with possessing and accessing child pornography.
According to police, officers were investigating child pornography “through a popular online search engine.” As a result of the investigation, police executed a search warrant at a home in Prince Albert which was identified as the source of the offences.
James Seright, 63, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography. He was released from custody with numerous conditions, police said.
The Internet Child Exploitation Unit is a combined-forces police unit mandated to investigate crimes involving abuse or exploitation of children on the Internet.
