Three people are dead after a vehicle went off the road and into the water at the Beaver River Bridge on Highway 155, about 40 kilometres north of Green Lake.
In a media release Wednesday, the RCMP said officers from the Meadow Lake/Green Lake detachment got a call Monday just after 7 p.m., about a possible submerged vehicle.
Officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services, Collision Reconstruction and Underwater Recovery Team responded. On Tuesday, police found the vehicle in the water — and found the bodies of three people inside.
The victims were identified as two 25-year-old women who had been reported missing to the Big River RCMP and a 31-year-old man who had been reported missing to the Saskatoon Police Service.
The RCMP continues to investigate the incident.
