RCMP in North Battleford arrested a 16-year-old boy believed to be involved in an assault at a local high school.
Police said the youth was believed to be armed and dangerous, and issued a call for help locating him.
As he is a youth, his name and photo are no longer being published.
Police responded to an assault at North Battleford Composite High School earlier Wednesday, saying one person was reportedly hurt but their injuries were not life-threatening. Police did not say if the injured person was a student or staff member at the school.
The high school was locked down as a result, and staff members were seen escorting students out of the building in groups.
