8:30– The manhunt for Myles Sanderson is officially over after he was captured near Rosthern, Saskatchewan yesterday afternoon. This happened shortly after a public warning was issued stating there was a person armed with a knife driving a stolen vehicle in Wakaw. Sanderson died in police custody after the arrest. Rhonda Blackmore, RCMP Assistant commissioner said in a press conference yesterday that Sanderson went into medical distress and died in the hospital. Our reporter Lisa Schick was at the arrest scene yesterday and joins us to share more about this story.

9:30– Yesterday an Indigenous Leader, Mark Arcand, revealed that his sister and nephew were among the victims of the mass stabbing that took place at James Smith Cree Nation. At the conference, he said, “we’re hurt, we’re broken, but we’re not defeated.” He joins us to share his story, as well as some of the work that his organization is doing to help victims of the tragedy.
