8:30- The NASA Artemis launch is set to take place this Saturday after take-off was postponed earlier this week. We are joined by Troy Harkness, a professor of biochemistry, microbiology & immunology at the University of Saskatchewan, to chat about the significance of this launch, and bringing humanity back to the moon. We also discuss Harkness’s work with studies that led to the BioSentinel, which is a smaller spacecraft that’s hitching a ride to space on the Artemis I mission.

10:15– The iconic Lumsden Duck Derby is also taking place this weekend. It has supported the Lumsden Sports Association for over 35 years and since then 25 000 rubber ducks have been dropped into the Qu’appelle River. We check in with the Chair of the Duck Derby, Morgan Mayer for more information.
