Police in Saskatoon have asked for help from the public as officers try to track down the perpetrators behind a bear spray attack in the grandstand at the Saskatoon Ex.
The exhibition was marred by three separate bear spray attacks within the fairgrounds, two of which happened during musical performances when the largest crowds typically gather.
On Wednesday, Saskatoon police put out a call for information — or video footage — from the public relating to one of the bear spray incidents.
“The SPS wants to thank the public for their assistance so far, but investigators are now looking for details specific to one of the incidents,” the police service wrote in a news release.
“Investigators are requesting anyone with video evidence or information from Saturday Aug. 13 at around 9:15 p.m. This bear spray incident occurred in the Exhibition Grandstands during a concert.”
Anyone with information or who was a victim or witness in any of the incidents was asked to contact police or make a report online.
