Police in Saskatoon are appealing to the public for information after three separate bear spray attacks at the Saskatoon Exhibition.
Numerous people suffered the effects of the stinging spray at the fair, with one of the incidents happening in a large crowd during a concert Sunday evening.
Prairieland Park, the venue that hosts the Exhibition, has said it is considering extra security measures to prevent future attacks, such as metal detectors or body scanners.
On Thursday, the Saskatoon Police Service put out a call for help as it investigates the attacks. Police asked anyone who was a victim or a witness to contact the police service, and they further asked anyone who captured video of the incidents to share the recording with officers.
The Queen City Ex in Regina also saw a bear spray attack, when the spray was used by someone on a ferris wheel. About 40 people were affected by the spray in that incident, police said.
