The Saskatchewan Health Authority is closing its vaccination clinic at Saskatoon’s Prairieland Park on Wednesday.
According to the health authority, the lease agreement for the space is ending, and as a result the COVID-19 vaccination clinic will close for good on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
While the Prairieland Park site will be closed, the health authority noted there are plenty of other opportunities for those in the Saskatoon area to get their shots.
Walk-in clinics are still offered at a number of locations, the health authority said. Appointments can be booked through the Online Patient Booking System starting Friday.
Appointments can also be booked at participating pharmacies.
A list of walk-in clinics is available on the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s website.
Those looking specifically for Johnson and Johnson or Novavax vaccines were advised to contact the health authority’s Specialty Immunization Travel Health Centre.
All residents of Saskatchewan aged six months and older are eligible for a COVID vaccine. As of June 16, 44 per cent of Saskatchewan’s eligible population had received at least three vaccine doses.
