Get ready to walk or ride your bike if you want to take in Canada Day celebrations in Saskatoon.
There will be a lot of road closures to allow for vendors, events and other celebrations to take place.
According to the City of Saskatoon, beginning at 8 a.m. July 1, the Traffic Bridge, the Broadway Bridge, and parts of 19th Street East will all be closed to traffic.
The boat launch and streets around River Landing, including Spadina Crescent East near Friendship Park and Kiwanis Park, will also be closed.
On the other side of the river, Saskatchewan Crescent East between 13th Street and McPherson Avenue will also be closed, along with parts of Victoria Avenue and Broadway.
Detours will be in place.
Most of the closures take effect at 8 a.m. Friday and will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.
