Another swimmer in southern Saskatchewan has been found dead.
According to RCMP, a call came in around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday about a swimmer in Last Mountain lake who went missing near the public beach at Buena Vista.
Not only did the Lumsden and Moose Jaw RCMP send out members, but their underwater recovery team came out as well as the local fire and EMS crews, and locals from the area to help search.
Later on in the day, the swimmer – a 19-year-old man – was found dead in the water near where he was last seen swimming.
RCMP said they are looking into it as a sudden death investigation.
A teen went missing in Buffalo Pound Lake the weekend before and was found dead as well.
