An 18-year-old man who was arrested after allegedly shooting at three people with a BB gun in the parking lot of a Saskatoon school is now facing criminal charges.
Police were called to the school on Primrose Drive early Tuesday afternoon and arrested the man after he allegedly shot at three people with the replica BB gun, causing minor injuries to one of them.
According to Saskatoon police, the man has been charged with three counts of assault with a weapon along with possession of a weapon for the purpose of an offence, using an imitation firearm in an offence, and causing bodily harm with intent.
He appeared Wednesday morning in Saskatoon Provincial Court to answer the charges. He’s to be back in court later this month.
Police did not say whether any of the involved parties were students at the school.
