The CFL Players’ Association told players with seven teams not to report to training camp Sunday after the union and the league couldn’t reach a new collective bargaining agreement.
Members of the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Elks aren’t allowed to go on strike without 72 hours notice to their employer.
It’s the first strike in the CFL since 1974.
Some Roughriders players were at the University of Saskatchewan on Sunday to participate in some drills and to go for a run, but there wasn’t a formal practice — and there won’t be any in the near future, either.
There wasn’t much happening at Griffiths Stadium on Monday.
Not much going on at Griffiths today.

Keeping their minds and bodies sharp for whenever a deal gets reached.
