The Saskatchewan Roughriders have dropped their COVID-19 vaccination requirement for fans for the 2022 CFL season.
In a media release Monday about ticket sales, the Roughriders revealed fans won’t need proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter Mosaic Stadium.
That policy was put in place in September by the Roughriders.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers dropped the proof-of-vaccination requirement for games at IG Field on April 25.
The Roughriders also announced single-game tickets for the 2022 season are to go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m., with tickets starting at $30.
Season tickets as well as ticket packages also are still available. Tickets are available online at Riderville.com.
Saskatchewan’s first home game is May 23, when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are to visit for a pre-season game. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
The Roughriders’ other home regular-season games are June 11 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5 p.m.), July 2 versus the Montreal Alouettes (5 p.m.), July 8 against the Ottawa Redblacks (7:30 p.m.), July 23 versus the Toronto Argonauts (5 p.m.), July 29 against the B.C. Lions (7 p.m.), Aug. 19 versus B.C. (8 p.m.), Sept. 4 against Winnipeg (4 p.m.), Sept. 16 versus the Edmonton Elks (7:30 p.m.) and Oct. 22 against the Calgary Stampeders (5 p.m.).
