Weyburn Red Wings relocate to Assiniboia due to second ammonia leak

The Red Wings will host the Kindersley Klippers in Assiniboia on Friday.
It will be great to see Doug Flutie’s name connected to the CFL again.
Flutie will be named to the All-Time Argo team later this month at BMO Field.
In just two seasons in Toronto, in the late 1990’s, Flutie re-wrote team record books and led the Argonauts to back-to-back Grey Cup titles.
Flutie was named Grey Cup MVP in both 1996 and 1997, and set franchise single-season records in passing, completions and touchdown throws. The Canadian game seemed to be made for him.
On the snow-covered Ivor Wynne Stadium turf, Flutie led Toronto to a 43-37 win over Edmonton in 1996 after a 15-and-3 regular season.
In the 1997 Grey Cup game, Flutie led Toronto to an easy win over the Riders at Commonwealth Stadium, after another 15-and-3 regular season.
My Flutie moment came after he returned to the United States, when he said the CFL put the “fun back in football”.
It’s mutual. Fans had just as much fun watching him.
