Mushers in the main 10-dog race got underway Tuesday, with the 8-dog and 6-dog races set to begin today and tomorrow, with winners qualifying for the larger Yukon Quest and Iditarod races. Tanja Tabel is a board member with the Canadian Challenge, and she joins John for an update on this year’s races and how the mushers are coping in the frigid temperatures.
