A 23-year-old woman is facing charges for allegedly getting minors into the sex trade industry in Saskatoon.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, its Vice and Human Trafficking Unit started an investigation last December into a local online spa. Police said they believed the business “had procured, advertised and facilitated sexual services involving minors.”
As a result of the investigation, the 23-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday.
She was charged with two counts of procurement of a minor to offer sexual services, and one count each of procurement of a person to offer sexual services, advertising sexual services, material benefit from sexual services, and material benefit from sexual services provided by a minor.
