Don’t sleep on the underdogs this weekend in the NFL.
Yes, you have Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterbacks for the home teams, but the San Francisco 49ers showed the Dallas Cowboys they are a tough team to play against and the Green Bay Packers won’t have it so easy.
The Los Angeles Rams, now led by Matthew Stafford, are a high-flying team that will be tough for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to slow down.
The Cincinnati Bengals will go up against the Tennessee Titans with Derrick Henry back running the ball, but that Bengals team is underrated and Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are showing they are a QB/WR duo who will be a force to be reckoned with.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of the eight teams win this weekend. But I’ll split it down the middle — two road winners and two home winners … and the AFC championship will be the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans and in the NFC I have the Packers hosting the L.A. Rams.
Could this be the last game for Tom Brady in the NFL? You just never know.
