The bitterly cold temperatures in Saskatoon are once again to blame for a host of school bus cancellations.
The Saskatoon Public School Division (SPSD) and the Greater Saskatoon Public School Division both announced cancellations on Thursday.
All buses for both elementary and high schools won’t be running, along with all charters. The cancellation is in effect for the entire day. Schools remain open and classes will go ahead as scheduled.
All elementary school buses for the Catholic school division from pre-kindergarten to Grade 8 in Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville have also been cancelled.
Buses for high school students from Martensville and Warman who are bused to Bishop James Mahoney High School and intensive-need high school student buses will not be running either, but schools remain open.
Rural bus routes are also cancelled for Saskatoon’s Ecole canadienne-francaise’s Pavillion Monique-Rousseau elementary, and Pavillion Gustave-Dubois.
And, all buses are also cancelled in the Prairie School Division.
