Aaron Rodgers should be the NFL MVP again, though the vote might get interesting for political reasons.
There is no doubt that Rodgers has made headlines for his “immunized” comment when asked if he’s been vaccinated, as he didn’t get a COVID vaccine but a different therapeutic treatment.
Rodgers is on the side of Joe Rogan, and before this season, Rodgers had Packers fans pondering life without him as he teased the idea of hosting game shows and seemed disinterested in rejoining his team.
But none of these reasons should keep him from winning the MVP award as the leader of the team that has the best record in football. He has thrown only four interceptions, he has the best QB rating and remember the game without him when he got COVID? Jordan Love was no heir which was apparent in a 13-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
One voter already declared he won’t vote for Rodgers because the quarterback is too selfish to be deemed valuable to his team.
While there are other candidates for some consideration, they’ll only be picked if politics comes into play. So we know it won’t be unanimous, but the votes should be 39-1.
