Saskatoon police have charged three people after a woman was allegedly beaten and restrained inside a Pleasant Hill apartment over the weekend.
The 31-year-old victim said she had been forcibly confined and assaulted inside an apartment in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West during the early hours of New Year’s Day.
She managed to escape and went to the hospital the next day with non-life-threatening injuries.
Serious assault investigators charged an 18-year-old man, and two women — one aged 23 and another aged 42 — with forcible confinement, aggravated assault and robbery with violence.
The 18-year-old man and 23-year-old woman have been arrested. A warrant was requested to arrest the 42-year-old woman.
The victim and the accused are not known to each other.
