The RCMP is asking for help from residents of a number of communities in southern Saskatchewan as it continues its search for a missing Weyburn woman.
Frances Gazeley, 77, hasn’t been since in almost two weeks.
On Monday, the RCMP asked people who live in the communities of Weyburn, Ceylon, Minton, Bengough and Colgate and those who live in surrounding rural areas to check their yards, fields and outbuildings on their property for signs of Gazeley or any clothing that wouldn’t normally be there.
Police also are asking anyone with property in the area who has trail or security cameras to check them for signs of the woman, of strange activity, or of a grey, four-door 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with the licence plate 479 LKW on Dec. 7 or 8.
Anyone who sees anything or who needs help searching their property is asked to call the Weyburn Police Service at 306-848-3250 or their nearest RCMP detachment.
