A collision between two cars on the Broadway Bridge early Saturday morning sent one person to hospital.
Saskatoon firefighters responded to the scene at 1:54 a.m. and discovered extrication was required to get one person safely out of a car.
A speciality blanket was given to the passenger and a paramedic monitored them while the crew used a hydraulic cutting tool to remove the car door.
Once the area was safe the passenger was taken to hospital, the Saskatoon Fire Department didn’t provide any details about the extent of the person’s injuries in a media release.
Firefighter cleaned up the scene and turned it over to Saskatoon police around 2:45 a.m.
