Three people were arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop discovered drugs, weapons and outstanding warrants.
Officers pulled over a vehicle in the 100 block of Avenue H South around 2 a.m. believing the driver was providing a ridesharing service to three passengers.
A man and woman inside the vehicle were identified and found to have outstanding warrants; both were arrested without incident. Another man, appearing to be under the influence of an intoxicant, had several uncapped needles around him and a bag of meth which he had tried to conceal.
Officers attempted to care for the man when they learned he was not intoxicated but rather pretending to be intoxicated to avoid them before he resisted arrest and was taken into custody. The driver was released without charges.
One can of bear spray, an imitation gun, two knives, 14.48 grams of meth, one phone, cash and drug paraphernalia were seized.
A 31-year-old woman, a two 38-year-old men are facing multiple charges including, weapons and firearms-realted charges. All three also had outstanding warrants.
